It’s great to connect with you again! Today, I want to share some updates about our journey this year, filled with both challenges and hopeful beginnings.

Quiet Start to the Year

January and February were quite slow for us. Sales were minimal, both in our shop and online. During this time, we focused on adding new products and brainstorming creative ways to encourage purchases. Thankfully, Google Shopping has started to make a difference, bringing more visibility to our website and helping us attract new customers.

To all our loyal customers, thank you! Your support means the world to us, and we truly appreciate every purchase.

Sales Strategies and Lessons Learned

We tried running a 50% off sale on the first of each month, promoting it heavily on Facebook. While I’m grateful for the two customers it brought in, I realized that selling everything at half price isn’t sustainable. So, we’ve decided to move on from that strategy.

A Difficult March

March brought a glimmer of hope as sales began to pick up. However, life took an unexpected turn when my Mum passed away after a brief illness. This loss has been incredibly hard, and we’ve temporarily closed the physical shop to focus on family matters, including organizing the funeral and managing her estate. It’s a challenging time, and I’m still processing everything.

Looking Ahead in April

As we enter April, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes. While the physical shop remains closed, our eBay store and website are still operational. I find myself at a crossroads, contemplating the future and how to best utilize my time moving forward. It’s essential to reflect on what truly matters.

Despite the challenges, I’m excited to announce that we’re expanding our rosette selection! Keep an eye out for beautiful new designs coming soon. We’re also considering reviving our show browbands, which has me feeling hopeful about the future.
