My spring loves.
So its march. The clocks go forwards in a few days so the evenings will be lighter and hopefully warmer, the birds are thinking about nesting, (at least they are pinching all my horses fur as fast as she is moulting, and even fighting over it in the field), the lambs and calves are being born, and foals too. There is so much to love about the spring, the promise of shows and competitions, evening rides (especially those of you who work 9-5), more turn out for your horses and ponies, hopefully less mucking out, less winter clothing and the list goes on and on.
My spring hates.
The only draw back for me is the risk of laminitis from all that spring grass and I am sure I am not alone. I am sure you are all aware that when the spring grass comes through its more likely to cause a bout of laminitis especially in those who have had it before. Oh and there is poo picking the field. A thankless never ending task, not to mention the fence replacing, and somehow all my wires for my electric fencer are broken so I need to get those sorted out too.
So there you are my loves and hates for the spring. I am sure you can all think of many more and there are possibly loads I have forgotten.
With regards to the website we are continuing to add more products as fast as we can and will soon be adding fly masks and fringes, fly repellents and lots of other summer products so keep your eye out for those. You can also head over to our facebook page where we run regular giveaways. Its simple to enter and you could win something very easily. Our name is slightly different over there as it is under the name kerrys-preloved-equestrian. We started that page before we whittled the name down to KPL but its still us.
